Surrealism done well is realism with one rule broken. Davi treats surreal pieces as compositions: every distortion has to mean something, every symbol has to earn its place. We'll start with the central image and work outward. These pieces tend to grow — what starts as a forearm idea sometimes wants to be a half-sleeve. We'll plan accordingly.
